Senior Tender Sales Engineer

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Tender Sales Representative to identify, pursue, and secure tender opportunities for Machinery, Mobility, and Equipment. The role requires managing the end-to-end bidding process—from document review and supplier coordination to competitive proposal preparation, negotiation, and contract award.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify, monitor, and develop tender and bid opportunities specifically for machinery, mobility, and industrial equipment.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, government institutions, consultants, and contractors.
• Review complex tender documents to assess technical, commercial, and regulatory compliance requirements.
• Prepare and coordinate highly competitive technical and commercial tender proposals.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external suppliers to secure specifications, quotations, and certifications.
• Develop tailored product and solution recommendations based on precise customer and tender requirements.
• Negotiate effectively with suppliers and customers to achieve competitive pricing and favorable commercial terms.
• Conduct customer and site visits to evaluate client needs and uncover additional sales opportunities.
• Manage submitted bids through the clarification, negotiation, evaluation, award, and contracting stages.
• Maintain an accurate tender pipeline, sales forecasts, and opportunity records.
• Monitor market trends, competitor behavior, and customer feedback to continually refine bidding strategies.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 5+ years of relevant experience in tender sales, bid management, or technical sales (experience in machinery, mobility, automotive, construction, or industrial products is a strong advantage).
