Senior Tender Sales Engineer - Machinery

Job Summary

The Senior Tender Sales Representative is responsible for identifying and developing tender opportunities for Machinery, Mobility, and Equipment, managing the tender process, and securing business through competitive technical and commercial proposals. The role involves customer relationship management, supplier coordination, bid preparation, negotiations, and post-submission follow-up to achieve sales and revenue targets.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify, monitor, and develop tender and bid opportunities for Machinery, Mobility, and Equipment.
• Build and maintain relationships with key clients, government institutions, consultants, contractors, and other stakeholders.
• Review tender documents and assess technical, commercial, and compliance requirements.
• Prepare and coordinate competitive technical and commercial tender proposals.
• Coordinate with suppliers and internal teams to obtain specifications, quotations, certifications, and other required documents.
• Develop product and solution recommendations based on customer and tender requirements.
• Negotiate with suppliers and customers to achieve competitive pricing and favorable commercial terms.
• Conduct customer and site visits to understand requirements and identify sales opportunities.
• Follow up submitted bids through clarification, negotiation, evaluation, award, and contract stages.
• Maintain an updated tender pipeline, sales forecast, and opportunity records.
• Monitor competitors, market trends, and customer feedback to improve bidding strategies.
• Provide tender and technical sales support to the sales team.
• Contribute to achieving sales, revenue, margin, and market growth targets.
