Terms of Service

1. Service. BinaSmart (bina.et) provides an online directory, guides and booking services, including BinaSmart Ride, a fixed-fare ride dispatch service in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. Rides are performed by independent licensed drivers dispatched by BinaSmart.
2. Eligibility. You must be 18 or older and provide an accurate Ethiopian mobile number for ride bookings.
3. Fares. The fare shown at quote time is the price for that trip. There is no surge pricing. Fares are paid directly to the driver in cash or via telebirr/Chapa. Waiting time beyond 10 minutes or additional stops may be charged as displayed on bina.et/ride.
4. Bookings and cancellation. A booking is a request for dispatch; it is confirmed when a dispatcher or driver contacts you. You may cancel free of charge at any time before the trip starts. Repeated no-shows may lead to suspension.
5. Using BinaSmart through AI assistants. You may use BinaSmart via ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini or similar. The assistant acts on your instructions; review the pickup, drop-off, fare and phone number it shows before confirming a booking. BinaSmart is not responsible for errors introduced by the assistant.
6. Directory content and guides. Directory listings are provided by the businesses concerned. Guides are for general information and are updated regularly, but official requirements can change; confirm with the relevant authority for legal, tax or immigration decisions.
7. Building-owner accounts. Owners are responsible for the accuracy of the building, unit and tenant information they enter and for having the right to use it.
8. Acceptable use. Do not submit false bookings, harass drivers or staff, scrape the service or attempt to bypass limits. We may suspend access for misuse.
9. Liability. To the extent permitted by Ethiopian law, BinaSmart is not liable for indirect losses, delays caused by traffic or weather, or actions of third parties. Nothing limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
10. Privacy. Our Privacy Policy forms part of these terms.
11. Governing law. These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia. Disputes are handled by the courts of Addis Ababa.

We may update these terms; the date above changes when we do.

API

1. What is open. bina.et/api/knowledge/search and the MCP server at bina.et/mcp are public and need no login. They are meant to be used, including by AI assistants answering someone’s question.
2. Limits. Without a key: 20 requests an hour per address, shared between the two. Over that you get HTTP 429 and a Retry-After telling you when to come back. Keys are free and have their own higher limits — email info@gccdomestic.com saying what you are building and roughly how many requests a day you need. Send a key as Authorization: Bearer <key> or X-API-Key, and keep it secret; requests made with your key are your responsibility.
3. Acceptable use. Answer questions, build something, try things out. Do not copy the index wholesale or rebuild it elsewhere, do not run more than one identity to get around the limit, and do not use it to mislead people about what Ethiopian law or a government office requires.
4. Attribution. If you show an answer that came from here, say it came from BinaSmart and keep the source_url we return with it. The sources are public documents; how they are gathered, checked and indexed is our work.
5. No warranty. The data is provided as it is. We keep it current and we say where every passage came from, but official requirements change and we do not promise the API is accurate, complete or available. Check anything that matters with the office concerned. We are not liable for what is done with an answer.
6. We may revoke a key. Or change these limits, or withdraw the endpoints, at any time and without notice — usually because a key is being used to harvest rather than to answer. If your key stops working and you think that is wrong, write to us.
