Shabelle Bank is a fully licensed commercial bank in Ethiopia that operates according to the principles of Islamic banking. The bank began its operations as a microfinance institution in 2011 and later obtained a banking license to provide ethical financial products and services to its customers.

Shabelle Bank offers various banking services and customer conveniences, including internet and mobile banking, debit cards with SMS alerts, online account opening, 365-day banking, Saturday banking, extended banking hours, cash deposit machines, and banking units exclusively for women.

The bank is currently inviting qualified banking and finance professionals to apply for the following positions.

Available Positions

1. Senior Monitoring & Evaluation Officer – Internal/External

Vacancy No.: SB/HCM/0226/26
Location: Jijiga, Ethiopia

Education

• Master's Degree or Bachelor's Degree in Economics, Management, Accounting, or another business-related field.

Experience

• 4–6 years of experience in banking or microfinance operations.
• At least 2 years of experience as an officer.

2. Senior Internal Auditor Officer – Internal/External

Vacancy No.: SB/HCM/0227/26
Location: Addis Ababa, Ethiopia

Education

• Master's Degree or Bachelor's Degree in Economics, Management, Accounting, or another business-related field.

Experience

• 3–5 years of banking experience.
• At least 2 years of experience as an Internal Audit Officer.
