The Senior Executive - Standardization conducts Design of Experiments (DoE) in consultation with the technology function, manages pilot engineering lab batches, and leads the introduction and shop-floor standardization of new products and formulations. The role oversees non-conforming products, BOM-related activities, Quality Rate Index (QRI) improvements, Price of Non-Conformance (PONC) reduction, and cross-functional coordination across QC, QA, R&D, Production, Store, and Supply Chain teams.
Key ResponsibilitiesNew Product Standardization: Standardize new products and formulations on the shop floor, execute pilot engineering lab batches, and conduct Design of Experiments (DoE) to improve the Quality Rate Index (QRI).
Quality & Process Control: Monitor product quality plans, control Acceptance with Deviation (AWD), analyze and reduce non-conformances, calculate the Price of Non-Conformance (PONC), and conduct PCPA and FPY recording.
Audit & Compliance Support: Support the implementation of the Integrated Management System (IMS), QMS (ISO 9001:2015), and OH&S (ISO 45001:2018), and coordinate internal/external quality audits.
Safety & EHS Leadership: Comply with local statutory and Asian Paints EHS requirements, conduct safety training, achieve TRFR/TSR targets, promote 5S and PPE use, and drive safety campaigns and Kaizen initiatives.
Cross-Functional Coordination: Coordinate closely with Operations, QA, R&D, Supply Chain, Stores, and Sales/Marketing teams to ensure defect-free manufacturing and customer complaint resolution via RCA and CAPA.
Educational Background: Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Chemistry, or a related field.
Work Experience: 2 to 5 years of executive-level manufacturing process experience within paint, chemical, pharmaceutical, FMCG, or automotive industries.
Certifications (Preferred/Asset): Certified Quality Engineer and QMS Auditor certifications.
Technical Knowledge: Deep domain knowledge in manufacturing processes (especially paint or chemical production), ISO standards (9001:2015, 14001:2015, 45001:2018), 5S, HIRA, FMEA, and equipment calibration.
