Office Engineer

Job Summary

Responsible for overseeing and coordinating technical documentation, site measurements, quality control, and work progress specifically focused on finishing works within real estate and building construction projects. The role ensures that all finishing activities—from plastering and flooring to fixtures—are executed in strict accordance with approved drawings, BOQs, and specifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Finishing Works Coordination: Coordinate, monitor, and follow up on finishing works at project sites, including plastering, flooring, tiling, painting, gypsum ceilings, doors, windows, and sanitary fixtures.
• Technical Documentation & BOQs: Prepare and review construction drawings, technical documents, Bill of Quantities (BOQs), and detailed work schedules.
• Site Measurements & Verification: Take precise site measurements, verify completed quantities, and assist with payment certificates and work completion evaluations.
• Quality & Progress Monitoring: Monitor daily work progress and quality compliance against approved specifications while managing material requirements and technical site issues.
• Reporting & Record Keeping: Prepare comprehensive daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports and maintain organized project records, correspondence, and as-built documentation.

Educational Qualification & Experience Requirements

• Education: BSc Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Experience: 3 to 5 years of relevant experience, with strong practical expertise in finishing works within residential, commercial, or mixed-use real estate projects.

Required Skills & Competencies

• Proficiency in engineering software and office tools, coupled with exceptional coordination, communication, and reporting abilities.
• Required Skill Tags: AutoCAD or Civil 3D, creativity, strong coordination and networking skills, finishing works supervision, and BOQ quantity surveying.
• Desired Skill Tags: Microsoft Office proficiency, quality control management, subcontractor coordination, and technical report writing.
