Job Purpose:Support mainly the production, ensure permanently the availability of a functional equipment-material & tools to guarantee the farm activity performances.Key Roles and Responsibilities:
- Maintain the equipment tools (including the tools distributed for daily activities) and buildings in good operational conditions.
- Record all the operations in the maintenance books of the equipment.
- Record all the car movements in the appropriate book.
- Optimize, coordinate and monitor the maintenance operations (cost, time, worker distribution…)
- Ensure the farm building site cleanness during the daily activities.
- Ensure safety standards are applied for using all farm equipment.
- Guaranteeing the building maintenance is properly performed.
- Control and allocate the farm equipment for the farm activities according to requests and priorities.
- Control the tool distribution for the daily activities and their return to the storage.
- Anticipate maintenance issues and keep a safety time margin by following active preventive maintenance.
- Give directions to the employees according to the cleanness standards.
- Give the right specifications to the Procurement & Storage Officer to buy the spare parts and for proper storage management.
- Propose various viable solutions by having close communication with the farm management team.
- Plan, coordinate, and supervise preventive and corrective maintenance activities to minimize equipment downtime and ensure operational efficiency.
- Ensure that all equipment, machinery, tools, and maintenance materials are properly maintained, readily available, and used safely and efficiently.
- Ensure the regular maintenance and upkeep of buildings, workshops, facilities, and surrounding areas.
- Monitor equipment performance, identify potential failures, and implement timely corrective actions to prevent operational disruptions.
- Plan the annual maintenance budget.
- Report the maintenance activities periodically.
- Report the progress of the different projects.
