IT Officer

The IT Officer oversees and manages the hotel’s technological infrastructure to ensure secure, seamless, and efficient daily operations. The role involves supporting hospitality-specific software and hardware systems, maintaining network stability, implementing cybersecurity measures, and providing technical assistance to hotel staff.

• Maintain and support all hotel IT systems, including Property Management Systems (PMS), Point of Sale (POS), Micros, MC, Opera, and communication networks.
• Manage and monitor network infrastructure, covering LAN, Wi-Fi, and internet connectivity across the property.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and connectivity issues promptly.
• Implement, monitor, and update cybersecurity measures to safeguard guest and hotel data.
• Coordinate with external vendors and service providers for hardware/software procurement, servicing, and maintenance.
• Provide technical training and ongoing support to hotel staff on various IT systems and digital tools.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of IT assets, network configurations, and standard operating procedures.

• Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Work Experience: Proven minimum of 1 year of experience in IT support within the hospitality industry or a similar high-demand operational environment.

• Strong working knowledge of network administration, cybersecurity principles, and hotel management systems (e.g., Opera, Micros).
• Excellent problem-solving capabilities and the ability to work well under pressure while managing multiple tasks.
• Proficiency in communication and MS Office applications.
