Setup & Maintenance Mechanician II – Inspection Machine

Education

BSc Degree or TVET Level Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.

Additional specialized training in:

Inspection Machinery Setup & Calibration

Industrial Automation Systems (PLCs, SCADA, Sensors)

Safety & Compliance for Glass Factory Operations

Experience:

Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience in the maintenance of automated inspection machines, troubleshooting, and machinery calibration on production lines.

Direct experience with glass production processes and quality control systems.

Technical Knowledge & Competencies:

Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting capabilities for automated inspection machinery.

Proficiency using precision calibration instruments (micrometers, dial gauges, alignment tools).

Sound understanding of industrial automation systems (PLCs, SCADA, optical sensors, control systems).

Solid grasp of industrial safety standards and factory compliance protocols.

Practical problem-solving capabilities focused on root-cause diagnosis of machine-driven defects.

Resilience and capacity to deliver quality work under pressure within a fast-paced production environment.
