Key Responsibilities

• Conduct market and economic research relevant to the banking and financial services sector.
• Monitor economic trends, market developments, and financial indicators that may affect the bank's operations and performance.
• Collect, analyze, and interpret economic, financial, and market data from relevant sources.
• Prepare research reports, market analyses, forecasts, and presentations for management.
• Identify emerging market opportunities, risks, and trends and provide research-based recommendations.
• Support strategic and business planning through relevant market and economic insights.
• Conduct research on customer, industry, competitor, and market developments as required.
• Present research findings and recommendations clearly to relevant stakeholders.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of economic and banking developments and their potential impact on the organization.

Experience

• Years of Experience: 6 years of relevant banking work experience.
• Relevant Experience: 2 years in Market & Economic Research Officer or other equivalent related job positions.

Education & Certifications

• Educational Requirements: A minimum of BA / BSc degree from recognized higher learning institutions in Accounting, Management, Finance, Banking & Finance, Economics, or related fields of study.
