Senior Machinery Sales Support Engineer

Job Summary

The Machinery Sales Support Engineer / Specialist drives sales growth and customer satisfaction by providing comprehensive technical and sales support for machinery products. The role bridges sales and engineering operations by analyzing client requirements, conducting product demonstrations, managing pre-bid quotations, and coordinating smooth transitions from sales to after-sales service and installation.

Key Responsibilities

• Sales Support & Customer Engagement: Assess customer project needs, recommend appropriate machinery solutions, and conduct site visits, presentations, and product demonstrations.
• Pre-Sales & Quotation Management: Prepare technical documentation, performance calculations, and compliance certificates for tenders and quotations while coordinating with suppliers for drawings and certifications.
• Service Coordination: Liaise with after-sales and technical service teams to guarantee seamless equipment handover, installation, commissioning, and warranty support.
• Market Intelligence: Monitor industry trends, competitor offerings, and product developments to provide informed recommendations and strategic insights to management.
• Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate records of technical proposals, sales pipelines, customer interactions, and conversion rate reports.

Educational Qualification & Experience Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Experience: Minimum of 4 years of demonstrated professional experience in machinery sales, application engineering, or field service within the industrial equipment sector.
