Senior Import and Export Officer

Position: Senior Import and Export Officer  Location: Head officeCompany: Henosis SACCO Henosis is legally registered organization by the federal ministry of trade and regional integration.

Job Summary: The Senior Import and Export Officer is responsible for planning, coordinating, and managing the organization's import and export activities in compliance with applicable laws, regulations, customs requirements, international trade practices, and internal policies.

The position ensures the smooth and timely movement of goods across borders, proper preparation and verification of trade and shipping documents, effective coordination with suppliers, customers, banks, customs authorities, freight forwarders, shipping lines, transport providers, and other relevant stakeholders.

The Senior Officer also provides technical guidance to junior staff and supports management in improving the efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and compliance of the organization's international trade operations.
