Senior Contract Engineer

Position Title: Senior Contract EngineerLocation: Head Office Addis AbabaEmployment Type: ContractExperience Required: Minimum 8–10 years of proven professional experience in contract   administration and construction projects 

We are seeking One (1) a highly experienced and detail-oriented Senior Contract Engineer to lead contract administration and ensure effective management of contractual matters throughout project execution. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in construction contracts, claims management, and cost control.Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the administration of construction contracts and ensure compliance with all contractual obligations.
• Review and interpret contract documents, drawings, specifications, and BOQs.
• Manage and evaluate variation orders, claims, and extension of time (EOT) requests.
• Prepare, review, and certify interim payment certificates and final accounts.
• Monitor project progress in relation to contractual schedules and milestones.
• Provide contractual advice and guidance to project teams and management.
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, consultants, and stakeholders on contract-related matters.
• Maintain proper documentation of all contractual correspondence, notices, and records.
• Ensure proper implementation of FIDIC or other applicable contract conditions.
• Identify contractual risks and recommend mitigation measures.
