Job Summary

DEDE Bottling Factory PLC is seeking a qualified, proactive, and results-oriented Sand Plant and Cullet Plant Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of the sand processing and cullet plants. The role is responsible for ensuring the continuous supply of high-quality raw materials for glass production by supervising processing activities, maintaining quality standards, optimizing operational efficiency, and leading plant personnel. The supervisor will ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality management standards while supporting uninterrupted manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise the daily operations of the sand plant and cullet plant to ensure efficient production and continuous supply of quality raw materials.
• Oversee the sorting, processing, and quality control of cullet materials in accordance with production requirements.
• Monitor sand processing activities, including grading, moisture content, and chemical quality.
• Coordinate laboratory sampling, testing, and analysis to ensure raw materials meet required quality standards.
• Supervise plant operators and ensure compliance with standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Monitor raw material inventory levels and coordinate timely replenishment to prevent production interruptions.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly operational and production reports.
• Maintain accurate operational logs and production records.
• Ensure proper waste handling, disposal, and environmental compliance.
• Identify operational challenges and implement appropriate corrective and preventive actions.
• Ensure compliance with workplace safety regulations, housekeeping standards, environmental policies, and quality management systems.
• Support Batch Plant and Furnace operations whenever required to ensure smooth production processes.
• Train, coach, mentor, and evaluate subordinate staff to improve performance and operational efficiency.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• BSc Degree or Diploma in Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mineral Processing, Industrial Chemistry, or a related field.

Experience

• Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in a glass manufacturing environment.
• Experience supervising sand processing, cullet processing, or raw material preparation operations is highly desirable.
• Previous supervisory or team leadership experience is an advantage.
