Junior Mechanic

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Industrial / Manufacturing Mechanic to inspect, repair, install, troubleshoot, and maintain industrial machinery and equipment. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring machinery, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, electrical control systems, motors, generators, and pumps operate safely and efficiently. The position requires strong technical knowledge, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to quality and preventive maintenance.

Job Description

• Inspect, repair, install, and maintain machinery, hydraulic and pneumatic electrical control systems.
• Disassemble, inspect, reassemble, troubleshoot, repair, and replace malfunctioning parts or equipment.
• Use blueprints and wiring diagrams to plan and execute electrical repairs and installations.
• Perform preventive maintenance procedures as per schedule.
• Carry out any assignment given by the supervisor.

Requirements

• Level 5 or Advanced Diploma or BSc Degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or a related field.
• 4 years and above experience as an Industrial/Manufacturing Mechanic or in a similar role.
• Good experience with industrial machines, motors, candy formatting and warping machines, generator and pump installation and maintenance.
• Familiarity with electrical codes and safety standards.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
• Ability to work on multiple projects and meet deadlines.
