Job Summary:

The IT Operations and System Security Officer will be responsible for managing daily IT operations while ensuring the security, reliability, and integrity of the organization’s IT infrastructure, systems, and data.

Key Responsibilities

Monitor and maintain IT infrastructure, servers, networks, and enterprise systems

Implement and manage IT security policies, procedures, and best practices

Monitor security systems including firewalls, antivirus solutions, VPNs, and endpoint protection

Identify, investigate, and respond to cyber security incidents and vulnerabilities

Conduct system monitoring, risk assessments, and security audits

Manage user access controls, permissions, and identity management systems

Ensure data backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity processes are maintained

Install, configure, and update hardware, software, and security systems

Troubleshoot network, system, and security-related issues

Provide technical support and cyber security awareness training to staff

Maintain IT operational and security documentation, logs, and reports

Coordinate with vendors and service providers when necessary

Qualifications & Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field

Minimum 1+ years of experience in IT infrastructure and network administration, and Related works

Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, network administration, and security operations

Experience with firewalls, VPNs, antivirus systems, and endpoint security solutions

Good understanding of cyber security principles, risk management, and incident response

Familiarity with Windows Server environments, Active Directory, and Microsoft 365 administration

Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills

Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
