Head Of Store Controller

Job Summary

Grace Construction Chemicals is seeking a Head of Store Controller on a full-time basis to oversee inventory control, financial management, and store operations across multiple stores in Dukem. The role involves optimizing stock levels, supervising audits, implementing loss prevention strategies, and leading the store controller team to ensure accurate inventory records, financial compliance, and efficient logistics.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

• Oversee inventory management across multiple stores to optimize stock levels, prevent stock-outs, and reduce discrepancies.
• Supervise regular stock audits, cycle counts, physical reconciliations, and stock rotation processes.
• Prepare and manage store inventory budgets, conduct financial analysis for cost savings, and oversee stock valuation and reporting.
• Implement loss prevention strategies and security measures to minimize shrinkage from theft, damage, or administrative errors.
• Lead, manage, and train the store controller team while collaborating with procurement, purchasing, and operations departments.
• Prepare regular inventory reports, financial statements, and performance metrics for senior management highlighting turnover trends and KPIs.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Retail Management, or a related field (Master’s degree in MBA, Finance, or Supply Chain Management is advantageous).
• Experience: 4 to 6 years of experience in inventory management and financial control within a retail or distribution environment, including strong leadership experience managing teams.

• Technical Skills: Proficiency in stock management systems, ERP/WMS/POS systems, financial reporting, data analysis, and inventory valuation.
