Work Experience:
Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in humanitarian or development project management in a relevant sector (Health, Protection, WASH).
Proven experience (at least 3 years) in a leadership or senior management position in a complex and remote emergency setting.
Demonstrated expertise in coordinating multisectoral projects, specifically those incorporating Protection and WASH components in addition to Health and Nutrition interventions.
Experience working in the Afar Region or other pastoralist contexts is a strong asset.
Skills:
Strong technical knowledge of integrated health, protection, and WASH programming.
Excellent skills in donor reporting, proposal development, and budget management.
Proven ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams in remote and challenging operational environments.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Fluency in English and Afarigna is mandatory.
Prior work experience in a non-governmental organization (NGO).
Place of Work: Abala, in Zone 2, with frequent travel to Bidu and Erebti Woredas
