The Ethiopian Capital Market Authority (ECMA) is inviting qualified candidates to apply for two information technology positions in Addis Ababa. The available opportunities are Junior IT Officer – Full Stack Developer and Senior IT Officer I – Enterprise System Developer.

The Ethiopian Capital Market Authority is an autonomous federal regulatory authority established under the Capital Market Proclamation No. 1248/2021. ECMA is responsible for regulating activities within Ethiopia’s capital market and supporting an orderly, fair, and efficient capital market environment.

1. Junior IT Officer – Full Stack Developer

Job Summary:
The Junior IT Officer – Full Stack Developer position is intended for an IT professional with relevant academic qualifications and 1–2 years of experience.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Information Technology, Software Engineering, Information Science, or a field related to the job function.
• Qualification must be from an accredited or recognized learning institution.
• 1–2 years of relevant work experience.

Desirable Professional Training or Certifications: Relevant training or certification in any of the following is desirable:

• Software development
• Full stack development
• Web application development
• Database management
• Cloud fundamentals
• Software testing

2. Senior IT Officer I – Enterprise System Developer

Job Summary:
The Senior IT Officer I – Enterprise System Developer position requires an experienced IT professional with relevant academic qualifications and at least four years of experience in enterprise systems or related areas.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Information Technology, Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Science, or a field related to the job function.
• Qualification must be from an accredited or recognized learning institution.
• Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in one or more of the following:
  • Enterprise system development
  • Software engineering
  • Application integration
  • Database development
  • Systems analysis
  • Related IT roles

Desirable Professional Training or Certifications: Relevant training or certification in any of the following is desirable:
