Chief Security Head

The Chief Security Head provides executive-level leadership over all security and safety operations at ABY Manufacturing PLC's plant and facilities in the Bole Lemi Economic Zone. The role is responsible for safeguarding company assets, managing security personnel, ensuring compliance with industrial safety protocols, and maintaining robust liaison with law enforcement and regulatory authorities.

• Security Operations Management: Direct and oversee all physical security protocols, plant protection measures, and asset-safeguarding systems across the facility.

• Team Leadership & Deployment: Build, train, and manage the internal security team to ensure round-the-clock protection and emergency responsiveness.

• Risk & Safety Compliance: Enforce industrial security and safety regulations, conduct vulnerability assessments, and mitigate potential operational threats.

• Stakeholder & Authority Liaison: Coordinate closely with local authorities, federal/regional police institutions, and internal departments to maintain a secure working environment.

• Educational Background: Diploma or Degree in Police Science from the Ethiopian Police University or a related recognized institution.

• Work Experience: Significant professional background within Federal or Regional Police Institutions. (Experience as a senior-ranked officer is a distinct advantage).

• Technical Knowledge: Specialized expertise in security and safety management, threat assessment, and crisis response.

• Core Competencies: Strong team-building abilities, excellent communication skills, and exceptional professional judgment.
