Qualifications: Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Public Health, Nursing, Law, or other related fields.
Experience: Minimum of two (2) years of relevant work experience in a humanitarian or development context, with a specific focus on providing direct case management services for GBV survivors, vulnerable children, and/or MHPSS.
Skills Required:
Fluency in English, both written and verbal.
Fluency in the local language ( Afar ), both written and verbal, is a mandatory requirement .
Previous experience working in complex and volatile contexts, particularly in the Afar region, is highly desirable.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders, including vulnerable individuals and communities.
Strong empathy, active listening, and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and ethical conduct.
Ability to work under pressure and handle insecure environments.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Place of Work: Bidu Woreda, Zone 2, Afar Region.
