Associate Legal Counsel

Education :

Bachelor’s degree in Law (LL.B)

Experience :

Minimum of 3–5 years of post-qualification experience in corporate or commercial law, preferably in a multinational or regulated industry.

Preferred Skills :

Strong knowledge of Ethiopian commercial law, labor law, and regulatory frameworks

Solid understanding of substantive and procedural laws within the country legal system

Proven experience in contract drafting, review, and negotiation

Experience in litigation management and handling legal disputes

Strong background in corporate and/or commercial legal practice

Demonstrated capability in regulatory compliance and legal risk management

Ability to interpret and apply laws and regulations in a corporate or multinational environment

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and legal reasoning skills

Excellent written and verbal communication skills for legal documentation and stakeholder engagement

Ability to work effectively in regulated or complex business environment
